Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using CVPass. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CVPass ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CVPass is an AI-powered resume analysis tool that compares your resume against job descriptions and provides a match score, keyword analysis, and an optimised version of your resume. The Service is provided "as is" and is intended for informational purposes only.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at business@nextry.app.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying AI models; (c) upload content that infringes third-party rights; (d) use automated scripts to access the Service beyond normal use; (e) resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.

5. Subscription and Payments

Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. All prices are in EUR unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from your account settings — your access continues until the end of the paid period.

6. Refund Policy and Right of Withdrawal

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days of the transaction date, for any reason, without penalty. To exercise this right, contact us at business@nextry.app with your account email and we will process a full refund within 5 business days.

After 14 days, or if you have actively used the Service (performed AI screenings or tailoring), you may still cancel your subscription at any time — your access continues until the end of the paid period. No further charges will apply.

7. Intellectual Property

CVPass and its underlying technology remain the property of Elena Matyushenko / NexTry. The resume content you upload remains yours. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Data and Privacy

Your resume data is processed to generate analysis results and is not retained after the session unless you explicitly save it. We do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that CVPass analysis will result in job interviews or employment. Match scores are estimates based on keyword and semantic analysis and do not reflect decisions made by any employer.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVPass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
